I created this recipe when I was trying to think of ways to spice up my everyday yogurt! It then became more of a dip I would make to pair with apples and berries. It’s 4 ingredients, satisfying, easy to make and absolutely delicious. My toddler is so obsessed with this dip she eats it by the spoonful. This is a great dip to make for a snack at home or to make for a party! I love to serve it with apples but you can serve it with any fruit. I hope you love this dip as much as my toddler and I do!

Ingredients

You will need Whole Fat Greek Yogurt – whole fat Greek yogurt works best with this recipe, Peanut Butter – I use natural peanut butter, Honey – you can also use maple syrup and either Mini Chocolate Chips or Cacao Nibs – cacao nibs can be bitter if you are not used to them, so mini chocolate chips are always a go-to (I make it for myself with cacao nibs sometimes)

For Littles

My toddler loves this dip so much. She will eat it by the spoonful. Although, I will say she does not like Cacao nibs in this dip, only mini chocolate chips! So I only serve it to her with mini chocolate chips as Cacao nibs can be bitter. You can serve these to your littles 12 months +! **if you use maple syrup in place of honey you can serve this to littles under the age of 1; however, if you use honey, please don’t feed to babies under 12 months old as it is not recommended for this age group.

How To

Combine all the ingredients and mix.

Serve with fruit!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole fat Greek yogurt

  • 3 tablespoons natural peanut butter * (see notes)

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips or cacao nibs

Directions

  • In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, peanut butter and honey. Mix until completely combined.
  • Add in 2 tablespoons of the mini chocolate chips or cacao nibs and mix. Once you mix those 2 tablespoons in, then add the last tablespoon of chocolate or cacao to cover the top of the dip.
  • Serve with fruit! You can store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.

Notes

  • * Natural peanut butter tends to be thinner than the other peanut butters on the market, so I put 3 tablespoons of the peanut butter to get the right consistency of the dip. If you can only use a peanut butter that is thicker, start with only putting in 2 tablespoons and go from there.
