These pumpkin yogurt pops are the perfect healthy fall snack to make for you and the kids. They’re sweet, creamy, and taste like fall! And they’re incredibly nutritious.

I’m a fan of coming up with healthy snacks to celebrate the season we are in. These yogurt pops include puréed pumpkin, maple syrup and pumpkin pie spice, all favorite fall flavors! I use a wooden stick to make them into popsicles and drizzle some melted chocolate over them to elevate the flavors.

I love to have these on hand for a snack, but I also love these as a healthy dessert. My 2-year-old eats them all day long! These pops are not only delicious, but are very healthy; they’re rich in fiber, calcium and vitamin A.

I like to plop the yogurt on a parchment paper and poke the popsicle sticks in them, but feel free to use a popsicle mold if you want!I hope you love this recipe as much as my family and I do!

Ingredients

Plain Whole Fat Greek Yogurt – you can use a different kind of plain yogurt, but I like the thickness of the Greek yogurt for this recipe

Puréed Pumpkin – canned or fresh both work

Maple Syrup – just a little bit adds a nice fall sweetness

Pumpkin Pie Spice – cinnamon can be substituted here

Semisweet or Dark Chocolate – this is optional

Coconut Oil – to thin out the chocolate

For Littles

I make these specifically with my toddler in mind, even though I eat them as much as she does! I love this recipe because it’s so simple to make, tastes delicious, is fun to eat but also so healthy! You can give these to your toddlers 12 months + up! If you want to give to your baby, omit the melted chocolate and just serve the pop – supervised of course because of the stick!

How To

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix.

Place spoonfuls onto parchment paper and stick popsicle sticks into them. Freeze for 30 minutes and then melt chocolate and coconut oil together. Drizzle chocolate over the pops and freeze for another minute or two until chocolate sets. Enjoy!:)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain whole fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Popsicle sticks

Instructions

  • Cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a medium sized bowl, combine the yogurt, pumpkin puree, maple syrup and pumpkin pie spice and mix together until combined.
  • Using a spoon, place spoonfuls of the mixture on the parchment paper-covered tray and evenly spread out (see pictures above). They should be about 4-inch circles. You can create anywhere from 12-15 pops. Place popsicle sticks into each circle pop and place in the freezer for 20-30 minutes, until frozen.
  • A couple minutes before you take the pops out, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a glass measuring cup. Microwave for 20 second intervals and stir until melted.
  • Take the pops out and drizzle the melted chocolate evenly over the pops. Throw the pops back in the freezer for 1-2 minutes until the chocolate is set.
  • Serve! Keep them in the freezer! They can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. Enjoy!:)
