This is my baby’s last week as an 11 month old… I was crying thinking about it. And while I was crying, I also thought that I should do one more post on what I offer her and what she eats…. Because after this she is officially a toddler!

What is Different after the First Year?

My plan is after she turns 1, to give her some snacks throughout the day. I will give her a snack between her first and second meal and a snack between her second and third meal.

She can also now have honey! This will be a lot easier when it comes to recipes I make that have honey in them already, because I have had to substitute with another sweetener.

I also can give her some dark chocolate (sparingly of course). I will add some cacao powder into her diet as well.

I will continue to expose her to new foods and foods she has eaten before, just in new ways!

I hope you enjoy my baby’s last 11-month-old meals of her day!:)

Breakfast

I scramble one egg with some spinach and top it with cheese. I had some overnight oats was trying to experiment a recipe for and topped that with strawberries. I also cut up some blueberries for her!

This girl LOVES scrambled eggs, so I knew she would eat those (especially because there was cheese on top). She wasn’t too keen on the overnight oats… I need to work on that recipe more for sure. But of course she ate up most of the fruit! What little one doesn’t love fruit?

Lunch

I had leftover meat sauce I made the night before. The recipe for my meat sauce is here. I served that with pasta. My baby absolutely loves anything that has tomato sauce in it… so I knew it would be a hit. I then cut up banana and kiwi to make a smiley face! The meal was a winner.

Dinner

I have been obsessed with making homemade pizza (recipe coming soon). This is neapolitan cheese pizza I made, and I paired it with blueberries and avocado. Again, anything with tomato sauce and cheese my baby will eat. Anything with tomato sauce and cheese I will also eat!
