These double chocolate chip cookies are chewy, gooey and have a brownie-like texture. They’re easy to make and are addicting to eat. If you’re a chocolate lover, these are for you.

I am a cookie freak, and so are my daughter and husband. We love to make cookies together, and this is one of our favorite recipes! These cookies are full of rich chocolate flavor and remind me of a brownie but in cookie form. I like to slightly underbake them for a gooey center and add extra chocolate chips on top of the cookies before baking.

I also love how easy and quick they are to make. You mix the melted butter & cocoa powder together, add your sugars, then the egg and vanilla extract. Then you’ll add in the dry ingredients, give it a quick mix then fold in your chocolate chips. Form into balls and bake on a baking sheet.

These cookies are definitely a dessert- not part of my repertoire of healthy sweets. So make these when you want to enjoy all the chocolate and all the sugar! I hope you love this recipe as much as my family and I do!

Ingredients

You will need All Purpose Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, Unsalted Butter, Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, Brown Sugar, White Sugar, An Egg, Vanilla Extract and Chocolate Chips – I like milk chocolate for this recipe but any kind of chocolate works!

For Littles

This recipe does not skimp on the sugars, so be mindful when serving to your little ones! You can serve these to your littles 18 months + due to the amount of sugar in them.

How To

Whisk together your butter and cocoa powder, add the sugars, then the egg and vanilla.

Add in your dry ingredients and then fold in your chocolate chips.

Roll into balls and add more chocolate chips on top if desired. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!:)
