Preheat your oven to 350 and prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt and mix. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and unsweetened cocoa powder until combined. Then add in the brown and white sugar for 2 minutes until it doesn’t looks grainy anymore.
Add in the egg and vanilla extract and whisk again until combined. Now add in the flour mixture.
Add in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (don’t over mix). Now using a rubber spatula, fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Roll the dough into 15 balls (about 1 tablespoon sized) and place on the parchment paper a couple inches apart.
bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, 10 minutes if you like the cookies really gooey. Let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack for cooling.
You can store in an alright container for up to 3 days. Enjoy!:)
