I have been making this avocado mash for years, and now I make it twice as much because my toddler is obsessed with it. I use the mash mostly for avocado toast and she sometimes will eat the mash first and then the toast, that’s how much she loves it! The mash is made up of avocado, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Delicious and incredibly easy to whip up quickly. The lemon juice adds such a nice brightness to the recipe. This mash is also great to pair with fish, like salmon and tuna. For my mash, I like to spread it on some toast and top with red pepper flakes. Super yummy! I hope you love this mash as much as my toddler and I do!

Ingredients

You will need a Ripe Avocado, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Salt and Pepper.

For Littles

My toddler is absolutely in love with this mash. I make her avocado toast using the mash, but she will also just eat it all by itself. Avocados are so, so good for our little ones, as they are full of healthy fats which are vital for brain development. Olive oil has the same benefit, so this recipe is a double whammy of healthy fats. Lemon juice gives a great vitamin c boost and adds a nice bright flavor to the mash. You can serve this to your little 7 months+!

How To

In a small bowl, add the avocado, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mash until completely combined.
