These oven-baked chicken drumsticks are sweet, savory and satisfyingly sticky! They’re a family favorite protein to make for dinner. They’re the easiest thing to prepare and come out perfect every time.

These sticky drumsticks are a favorite in my house, and my toddler specifically cannot get enough! The chicken comes out pull-apart tender and the sauce is the perfect combo of sweet and savory. I love the texture of a sticky sauce on chicken, and this sauce does not disappoint. This is such a winner when it comes to weeknight dinners too, because it is so easy to make.
All you have to do is whip up the sauce ingredients and pour over drumsticks in a baking dish. Then you throw the chicken in the oven and let it cook. It is SO easy!
I love to serve the chicken with roasted potatoes or rice. I love how this recipe is toddler and kid friendly, but also something adults can enjoy!! I hope you love this recipe as much as my family and I do!

Ingredients
You will need Bone-in, Skin-on Chicken Drumsticks, Salt, Black Pepper, Honey, Ketchup, Soy Sauce, Brown Sugar and Fresh Garlic.
For Littles
When I tell you my toddler has never eaten as much chicken as she does when I make this recipe, I am not lying! If you are struggling to get your toddler to eat chicken, try this recipe! You can serve this to your littles 12 months +. I say this because honey is not recommended for babies under 12 months of age. If you want to make this baby-friendly, you can substitute the honey with maple syrup.

How To

In a small measuring cup or bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients and set aside.

Place the drumsticks in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper and pour the sauce ingredients over the chicken. Using tongs, toss the chicken in the sauce.

Bake at 400 for an hour, flipping the chicken half way through.

Enjoy!:)

Oven-Baked Sticky Chicken Drumsticks
Ingredients
- 4-6 bone-in, skin-on chicken drumsticks
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- A couple pinches of black pepper
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2-3 garlic cloves minced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 and grease an 8×8 baking dish with olive oil spray. Set aside. If you are feeding more people and doubling this recipe, use a 9×13 dish instead.
- In a measuring cup or bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar and fresh garlic. Mix and set aside.
- Place the chicken drumsticks in the baking dish and sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and using tongs, toss the chicken in the sauce by flipping the chicken over to make sure all sides of the drumsticks are coated.
- Place in the oven at 400 and bake for 30 minutes. Open the oven and flip the drumsticks over and then put them in for another 30 minutes. **If your drumsticks are bigger, put them in for another 45 minutes instead of 30. Your drumsticks will be done when they reach 165 degrees internally using a meat thermometer.
- Let cool for a couple of minutes and then serve. Spoon the sauce from the baking dish over the chicken when you serve. You can store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Enjoy!:)
