Servings 6servings
Ingredients
4-6 bone-in, skin-on chicken drumsticks
3/4 teaspoon salt
A couple pinches of black pepper
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2-3 garlic cloves minced
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 and grease an 8x8 baking dish with olive oil spray. Set aside. If you are feeding more people and doubling this recipe, use a 9x13 dish instead.
In a measuring cup or bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar and fresh garlic. Mix and set aside.
Place the chicken drumsticks in the baking dish and sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and using tongs, toss the chicken in the sauce by flipping the chicken over to make sure all sides of the drumsticks are coated.
Place in the oven at 400 and bake for 30 minutes. Open the oven and flip the drumsticks over and then put them in for another 30 minutes. **If your drumsticks are bigger, put them in for another 45 minutes instead of 30. Your drumsticks will be done when they reach 165 degrees internally using a meat thermometer.
Let cool for a couple of minutes and then serve. Spoon the sauce from the baking dish over the chicken when you serve. You can store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Enjoy!:)
