There is nothing like the smell of apples roasting in the oven… it puts me in mind of the holiday season and apple pie. Maybe that is why I make these roasted apples all the time? I use minimal ingredients because I really love the natural flavors of the apples when roasted. And it’s also of course much healthier this way! I make these once a week for my daughter and I, that’s how good they are. And they are also so quick and easy to make. They keep well in the fridge for several days.

These are great for babies 7 months +, or for babies that have had foods other than purées.
These apples are also great for chewing practice because they are cooked, so they are nice and mushy when eaten, but also have a soft peel that babies can mash with their little gums 🙂
How To
Chop the apples into bite size pieces and toss them into a greased 9 by 13 pan. Drizzle olive oil, sprinkle the cinnamon, brown sugar, salt and mix until combined.
Throw them into a preheated oven at 400 for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Take out to let cool for a few minutes. Then eat them on their own, or toss them on top of yogurt or oatmeal!
Below is a video on my instagram of me making them. Give me a follow!
