Sometimes I run behind on my day and do not have enough time to make a marinara sauce. When this happens, this recipe is my go-to. Let’s be real, I make it at least once a week! Even though this sauce only simmers for 15 minutes, the flavor would make you think otherwise. It’s rich, luscious and satisfying.
This dish is very much a pantry pull. There are days where I cannot run to the store so I rely on the dried herbs in my pantry. However, when I do have fresh herbs on hand, I always use those instead. Do 3 tablespoons of the fresh herb in place of the teaspoon of the dried.
