Ingredients
1 avocado
1 cup chickpeas strained and rinsed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a medium sized bowl, combine all the ingredients and mash using a pastry cutter, potato masher or fork. Mash until you get a consistency you like (I prefer when the chickpeas still keep some of their shape but are completely combined into the mix).
Using a rubber spatula, spread over toast of your choice. You can keep in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Enjoy!:)
