Marinara Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 24 oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 15 oz Can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Fresh Tomatoes Diced
  • 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 1 Medium Onion Diced
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon of Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • Freshly Cracked Pepper
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1/2 Cup Herbs

Instructions
 

  • Put a pot with a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions over medium heat until translucent, then add garlic, stirring for 1 minutes.
  • Stir in the tomato paste until combined.
  • Add all tomatoes, sugar, oregano, thyme, red pepper, salt, black pepper and bay leaves.
  • Bring to a boil then let simmer over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add in fresh herbs and butter and spoon over pasta.
  • You can store in an airtight container for up to three days or you can freeze for up to 3 months. Enjoy!:)
