Ingredients
24 oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
15 oz Can Tomato Sauce
2 Fresh Tomatoes Diced
2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
1 Medium Onion Diced
4 Garlic Cloves Minced
1 Tablespoon of Sugar
1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
1/4 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
1 Teaspoon Salt
Freshly Cracked Pepper
2 Bay Leaves
1/2 Cup Herbs
Instructions
Put a pot with a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions over medium heat until translucent, then add garlic, stirring for 1 minutes.
Stir in the tomato paste until combined.
Add all tomatoes, sugar, oregano, thyme, red pepper, salt, black pepper and bay leaves.
Bring to a boil then let simmer over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add in fresh herbs and butter and spoon over pasta.
You can store in an airtight container for up to three days or you can freeze for up to 3 months. Enjoy!:)
