Ingredients
1 1/4 cup rolled oats
3 tablespoons cacao powder
1/4 cup ground flax meal
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup almond or peanut butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
Grab a big plate or baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a big bowl, combine the oats, cacao powder, ground flax and salt. Mix until the oats are completely coated with the cacao, flax and salt.
Add in the almond butter or peanut butter and maple syrup. Using a wooden spoon or rubber spatula, mix until all combined. You may have to use your hands! Make sure all the oats are pressed into the mixture and there are no dry bits left (see pictures above).
Roll into tablespoon-sized balls and place onto the parchment paper. You will get anywhere from 18-22 balls.
Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill.
You can store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Enjoy!:)
