Ingredients
5-6 pears peeled and chopped
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
In a medium sized pot, combine all the ingredients. Mix until the pears are all coated with the spices.
Cover and cook the pears on medium/low for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. If your pears are more ripe, they may take less time. You want to cook them until they are soft.
Scoop your cooked pears into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. You can store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Enjoy!:)
