Ingredients
1 cup milk of your choice (I use whole milk)
2 teaspoons cacao powder
1 tablespoon chocolate chips
1 tablespoon honey (or more if desired)
Instructions
Place a small saucepan over medium heat and pour in the milk. Let the milk warm until it’s reached a soft simmer.
Once softly simmering, add in the rest of your ingredients and whisk. Whisk until all the chocolate has melted. This should take 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat and let sit in the saucepan for a few minutes to cool, stirring every 30 seconds so a film/skin doesn’t form on the top of the hot chocolate. Then pour into little glasses or mugs for your littles.
Serve with a candy cane, homemade whip cream or on its own. Enjoy!:)
