These banana mummies are a healthier Halloween treat to make for your kids! They’re easy to make, fun to eat and festive!

Don’t get me wrong, I love all the sugar and sweets Halloween brings. But making some recipes that have a healthier twist is always nice, especially when it comes to feeding my toddler. This is a recipe that’s easy to make with her too! Other fun recipes of mine include my Chocolate Ghost Bark and my Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Strips.
You can make these and freeze to preserve them and eat throughout the week. I hope you love this recipe as my toddler and I do!

Banana Mummies
Ingredients
- 3 bananas
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil
- 12 candy eyes
- 6 popsicle sticks
Instructions
- Set up a parchment paper-covered baking sheet and set aside
- Cut your bananas in half so that you have 6 banana halves. Stick a popsicle stick into each banana half and place the bananas on the parchment paper
- Melt your white chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a pourable glass measuring cup in the microwave (careful not to overheat as the microwave can easily do this with white chocolate)
- Pour the white chocolate over the bananas, making a crosswise look (like a mummy). Quickly place the candy eyes on the mummies before the chocolate hardens. Leave the bananas out for 5-10 minutes so the chocolate can harden
- Serve! If not serving right away, I like to wrap each banana individually in plastic wrap and throw in the freezer for snacks. You can store them in the freezer for up to 3 months. Enjoy!:)
