Beautiful Blueberry Oatmeal

This oatmeal recipe gives me life! It has been my recipe of choice for the last couple of weeks and it’s what I look forward to making my daughter and I for breakfast. Not only is this oatmeal so incredibly scrumptious, but it only takes 3 minutes to make, as long as you have a microwave available! This oatmeal is creamy, naturally sweet and oh so beautiful to look at. This recipe doesn’t use any added sugar and only uses a little maple syrup for some sweetness. It’s the perfect recipe to make for you and your family in a hurry!

This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled! You can also make this on the stovetop if you prefer, it will just take around 20 minutes over a low simmer until all the ingredients come together.

For Littles

This is the perfect recipe for little ones! You can even make this for babies because the blueberries lose their shape when being cooked, so it’s the perfect texture and safe for babies to eat. It’s also super healthy with no added sugar! Oats offer your littles an amazing amount of fiber, antioxidants (blueberries are chock full of them), and protein (from the milk). If your baby is under 1, you can use breastmilk or water instead of whole milk (babies under one cannot have whole milk). And if your baby doesn’t drink whole milk or any dairy, you can use any plant-based substitute! You can serve this to your baby 7 months+!

This is how I served it to my 12-month-old. I served the oatmeal with some yogurt for some extra protein and strawberries:
