I am in love with tomatoes. They are beautiful to look at and wonderful to eat. My marinara sauce takes tomatoes to new extremes by enriching their flavor over a simmer with other amazing ingredients. The smell of it will waft through your house and it will be a recipe you will look forward to making all the time.
How To
Sauté your onions and garlic, then mix in your tomato paste. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 1 hour.
This is love…. look at that color!
Tips:
Use fresh tomatoes instead of canned in the summer time… dice them up. If it is not summer, you can use a 15 oz can of diced tomatoes instead
Don’t skimp on the fresh herbs 🙂
