This slow cooker garlic Parmesan chicken and potatoes is a healthy but delicious slow cooker recipe to add to your dinner rotation. It’s hearty, flavorful and filling. It’s a toddler and kid friendly meal, too!

Ever since I became a mom, slow cooker recipes have been a go-to for very busy days. I love to be able to prep dinner have it be ready to eat by 5 pm. This recipe feeds a family and is full of protein, vitamin C, potassium and many more nutrients. And it’s delicious! The chicken comes out juicy and the potatoes come out super tender.
All you do is mix all the ingredients (except the Parmesan) together in the slow cooker and cook on low for 5 hours or high for 3 hours. Then when you’re ready to eat, you top it with Parmesan cheese and let it melt. You can serve with a green or simply eat it on its own!
I love to make this for a weeknight meal or when I need to make something quick for dinner. It’s also freezer-friendly. I hope you love this recipe as much as my family and I do!
Ingredients
You will need Chicken Thighs – chicken thighs give you the best flavor and won’t dry out as quickly as chicken breasts, Yukon Gold Potatoes– you can use different kinds of potatoes in place of the Yukons, Fresh Garlic, Dried Oregano, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Salt, Black Pepper, Olive Oil, Chicken Broth and Shredded Parmesan Cheese.

For Littles
This is a filling, nutrient-dense meal to feed your littles. It’s also incredibly flavorful, so it’s one your kiddos will want to eat. You can serve this to your littles 7 months +!
How To

Combine all the ingredients in the slow cooker except for the Parmesan cheese. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 3 hours.

When it’s finished cooking, top with the Parmesan cheese and cover for 2 minutes while it melts. Enjoy!:)
