Servings 10servings
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 yellow onion chopped
3 garlic cloves minced or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
15 oz can tomato sauce
3 cups beef broth
1 cup shell pasta or pasta of your choice
2 cup freshly grated cheddar cheese
Instructions
Warm a large pot over medium heat and then add in the ground beef and onion. Sauté until the beef is cooked. Drain out all the grease.
Add in the garlic, paprika, salt, pepper and stir until the beef and onions are coated in the spices.
Add in the tomato sauce, beef broth, pasta and stir. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a medium/low and let cook, stirring every couple minutes. Cook until the pasta is cooked and most of the liquid is reduced (some liquid is still good, you don’t want a dry hamburger helper). This could take anywhere from 10-15 minutes depending on the pasta you use.
Turn off the heat and add the cheese. Stir until combined.
Serve warm! You can store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Enjoy!:)
