A healthy treat that has the exact flavor of carrot cake, yum. These carrot cake bliss balls are full of texture, natural sweetness and warm spices. This recipe takes seconds to make!


It is now the season of using carrots in our cooking and baking! These carrot cake bliss balls are a great way to get into carrot season. This recipe is so quick to make and you will most likely have most of the ingredients already in your pantry. My toddler would eat all the bliss balls If I let her, they’re that yummy. These are great on-the-go snacks as well as a nice energy-boosting snack to munch on throughout the day. I hope you love these as much as my family and I do!
Ingredients
You will need Carrots, Rolled Oats – you can also use quick oats since it’s all going to be processed in food processor anyway, Walnuts – you can also use pecans, Unsweetened Coconut Flakes, Maple Syrup – you can use honey; but I will say the maple syrup really adds to the classic flavor of carrot cake in these bliss balls, Ground Cinnamon, Ground Cardamom and Ground Ginger.


For Littles
This is such a healthy treat to give to your littles. My 22-month-old can’t stop eating these! They’re easy to eat as well as fun to eat! They’re also fun to make with your little ones; they can help you roll the balls! You can serve this to your little 7 months+ as long as you use maple syrup and not honey; honey is not recommended to give to babies under 12 months old.

How To


In a food processor, combine all the ingredients. Pulse until combined. Roll in coconut flake if desired.

Chill & serve!
Carrot Cake Bliss Balls

2 medium carrots (about 1 cup), washed and grated
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup walnuts
1/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/3 cup pulsed unsweetened coconut flakes for rolling (optional)
Directions
- Prepare a baking sheet or a large plate with parchment paper and set aside. If you plan on rolling the bliss balls in coconut flakes, put the coconut flakes in a small blender and pulse. Put the coconut flakes in a small bowl and set aside.
- In a food processor, combine all the ingredients and pulse until all the I ingredients have fused. It should create a paste like texture (see picture above).
- Roll into balls and roll into the pulsed coconut flakes. Place on the parchment paper and chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
- I like to keep them in the fridge because they are so delicious chilled. You can store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Enjoy!:)
