This blueberry protein smoothie is healthy, creamy and filling. I love to make this in the mornings or for a snack for me and my toddler. It takes seconds to make!

This shake is made up of frozen blueberries, vanilla protein powder, a squeeze of lemon juice and milk of your choice. This smoothie is not only delicious but will fill me up for a couple hours. I will make this as a snack for my husband, toddler and myself. Both my toddler and husband love it so much they don’t want to share… so I always have to make an extra one for myself! The vanilla protein powder adds creaminess, and the blueberries add the sweetness. The lemon juice balances the smoothie out with a hint of citrus flavor. It’s delicious! I hope you love this smoothie as much as my family and I do!

Ingredients

You will need Vanilla Protein Powder – I use Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder , it’s expensive but worth it because of the clean ingredients (however, you can use any protein powder you have), Frozen Blueberries – you can use fresh if that’s what you have but you will need to add extra ice when making the smoothie, Fresh Lemon Juice, and Milk – you can use any milk you have; I love to use oat milk in this recipe.

For Littles

My toddler is quite obsessed with this shake. I don’t think toddlers necessarily need any extra protein in their diet because it’s easy to meet their protein needs; however, it doesn’t hurt if they love the shake! They’re getting protein, antioxidants and vitamin D! Willow loves to drink it out of her own glass. You can serve this to your littles 12 months +. The reason I say this is after 12 months is when you can start giving them different kinds of milk if you desire.

How To

Combine all your ingredients together in a blender and blend until smooth.

Enjoy!:)
