This apple pie smoothie has all the warm flavors of apple pie and is also good for you! This smoothie is toddler and kid friendly and super easy to make.

This apple pie smoothie is something I love to make during this time of the year. Not only do I love the apple pie flavors in this, but I love that it’s a healthy way to enjoy all those yummy fall flavors. This smoothie is full of fiber, protein and helps to regulate our blood sugar.

I love to use cosmic crisp apples in this smoothie, but any apples will do! All you do is blend up all the ingredients in a blender and then top with cinnamon!

Sometimes I will put this smoothie mixture into popsicle molds and make popsicles out of it. So yummy! I hope you love this recipe as much as my family and I do!

Ingredients

You will need Apples – I like to use cosmic crisps, but any apple will work, Plain Whole Fat Greek Yogurt – the Greek yogurt is what makes this smoothie so rich, so I don’t think there is a substitute, Rolled or Instant Oats these give the smoothie a nutty flavor, Maple Syrup, Cinnamon, Vanilla Extract – optional , Oat Milk – you can use other milk in place of oat milk if you prefer and Ice.

For Littles

This is a healthy smoothie to make for your littles that is also full of wonderful flavors. If your little one likes apples, they will love this smoothie! You can serve this to your little 8 months +!

How To

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Serve with cinnamon on top! Enjoy!:)

Course Breakfast, Fall, For Kids, For Toddlers, Healthy, Recipes, Smoothies
Servings 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 apples sliced into 2-inch pieces (I used cosmic crisp apples)
  • 1 cup plain whole fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup rolled or instant oats
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (plus more for serving)
  • Dash of vanilla extract (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons to 1/4 cup oat milk * see notes
  • 1/2 cup ice

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Start off with just 2 tablespoons of the oat milk and then add more if needed.
  • Pour into 2 cups and then top with more cinnamon. Enjoy!:)

Notes

  • * I like my smoothies slightly more thick, and I have made this smoothie before with too much milk for my liking. If you like your smoothie less thick, feel free to start at 1/4 cup instead of 2 tablespoons and go from there!
