This delicious chocolate protein shake will not only help your kiddos grow big and strong but will also fill them up! It’s protein-packed, chocolatey and naturally sweetened.

This protein shake doesn’t need any protein powder – all of the protein comes from the yogurt and milk! The frozen ripe banana in this adds a nice natural sweetness and a handful of spinach adds a nice dose of vitamins. The cocoa powder makes it chocolatey and rich which is why my toddler loves it!
All you do is add frozen chopped ripe banana, milk of your choice, plain whole fat Greek yogurt, unsweetened cocoa powder and spinach in a blender and blend until smooth.

Ingredients
Frozen Chopped Ripe Banana – adds a natural sweetness. I like to prep the banana the night before! I just chop up a ripe banana and place in an airtight container and freeze
Milk of Your Choice – cow’s or plant-based milk both work
Plain Whole Fat Greek Yogurt – typically the highest in protein
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder – adds the chocolate flavor
Spinach – just a handful. You can’t taste it
Add-ins – you can add a tablespoon of protein powder if you’d like, just make sure it’s made for kids. You can also add in avocado or even some berries. Keep in mind if you do add anything else, you may need to add in more milk.
For Littles
I make this specifically for my daughter. I love to make it because it is naturally sweetened and has all-natural protein in it. If you have a kiddo needing to gain weight, this is a great shake to make. This shake is made to help little ones grow! And it’s incredibly nutritious for them, too. You can serve this to your little 12 months +!

How To


Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!:)

Kid’s Chocolate Protein Shake
Ingredients
- 1 frozen chopped ripe banana
- 1/2 – 3/4 cup milk of your choice
- 1/2 cup plain whole fat Greek yogurt
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- Handful of Spinach
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender. Start off with 1/2 cup milk and add more if needed. I like less milk because my daughter likes a thicker shake!
- Blend until smooth. Enjoy!:)
