These roasted apricots are the perfect springtime dessert to make! They’re sweet, tangy and incredibly addicting. Only 4 ingredients and so easy to whip up.

It is officially Stone Fruit season! This recipe uses one of my favorite stone fruits: apricot. This is a simple yet delicious dessert you can whip up for a quick snack or as a sweet dish for a barbeque. The apricot’s natural sweetness is the star, but the caramelization from the brown sugar is a delicious touch. I love to make this for my family when I have nothing for dessert because it doesn’t take long. You can pair it with some ice cream or eat it as is. I hope you love this recipe as much as my family and I do!

Ingredients

You will need Fresh Apricots, Butter, Brown Sugar and Cinnamon.

For Littles

I have made this for my 2-year-old and she loves it! Probably because the apricots are made with butter and brown sugar… but that’s okay! Apricots are so good for gut health, so however I can get her to eat them, it’s a win. You can serve these to your littles 9 months +! Just keep in mind this recipe does have brown sugar in it, if you are trying to limit your little one’s sugar intake!

How To

Halve the apricots and place into a 9 by 11 greased glass pan. Place the pieces of cut butter onto each apricot half and sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon on top evenly.

Put into the oven at 350 for 10-12 minutes, or until the brown sugar is caramelizing.

And voila! Mouthwatering!

Tips:

Feel free to use any other stone fruit, like peaches!

Covering the apricots evenly with all the ingredients is key.
