I made these butterscotch haystacks last year as a little Halloween treat for my husband and I (Willow was 6 months then), and we loved them so much I knew I needed to blog them this year. This recipe is sweet, crunchy and so fun to make for Halloween. This three ingredient sweet snack makes my family happy, I hope they make yours happy too!

These are super fun to have your little ones help make! It would be fun to have them help put the eyes on…next year my daughter will be old enough to do that! As far as for eating, I recommend serving to littles that are able to eat crunchy things. I would say 1 1/2 to 2 years +. Also, these are a more sugary treat, so a serving would be 1 haystack or even cutting a haystack in half.
How To
Melt the butterscotch chips over boiling water and set up baking sheet.
Mix the chow mein noodles in with the melted chips and mix until combined. With two forks, pick up a tablespoon sized stacks of the butterscotch coated noodles and place on baking sheet.
Place the monster eyes on the haystacks. Chili and enjoy!
